Intermittent Closures – Chartersville Road

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that the intermittent closures on Chartersville Road, between Bahama and Thomas streets, will continue until Wednesday, June 26.
These closures are necessary in order to safely carry out some road work. Detours signs are in place.
Motorists are encouraged to plan for longer travel times while the work is being carried out.
It should be noted that businesses will remain accessible during construction.

Alain-Gillette Street Extension Project

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise residents that construction work on Alain-Gillette Street will begin during the week of June 24 and will continue until September. This extension of Alain-Gillette Street project will allow to connect Acadie Avenue to Champlain Street.
Businesses in the area will remain accessible during construction.

Snow Disposal Site Construction in Dieppe

The City of Dieppe wishes to advise motorists that construction work on a snow disposal site will begin on Wednesday, June 19 at the East end of Champlain Street. During construction, traffic on Champlain Street, between Barnes Street and Maxime Drive may be stopped for short periods of time to allow trucks access to the site.
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic. The City regrets any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience and collaboration.
Get Ready for Tricycle Rides in Dieppe

DIEPPE, NB — The City of Dieppe, alongside representatives of the main sponsor, Assumption Life, and various community stakeholders, today launched the tricycle rides for seniors program.
One of six winning projects of the second edition of the Participatory Budgeting Project, the “Un vélo, une ville” program aims to provide leisure outings or trips to run errands in order to prevent social isolation of seniors.
Steered by students from Dieppe, the tricycle offers free rides to the city’s seniors.
